3d Resin printing is only like 3D filament printing in that you get an object. Everything else is different. With resin printing, objects are pulled (upside-down) out of a vat of messy, smelly goo. Resin printing is faster than filament printing and the objects are higher resolution (smoother). Some resins are very durable too. Unfortunately, resin clean-up will quickly send you back to filament printing.

Model tires printed with a super strong rubberized resin. You’ll need good ventilation and a mask (which we all have plenty of) to work with this stuff.
The results are impressive, and this tire would be durable enough to run on an RC car.
